A great trip programmed for birders but anyone can go. If you don’t bird, you just don’t get up quite so early! An ecological paradise sure to please those who love the out of doors. Jo says she can hardly wait to take her grandson to enjoy the beauty of these places. A bargain for birders and non-birders...great place for the family.

DAY 1 - Hop across the border and head west arriving at our destination mid afternoon with time to explore the natural wonders or take a dip in the pool. Birders will have the late afternoon to try their luck in this desert retreat. Overnight at Termas de San Joaquin near Icamole.

DAY 2 - Early risers will enjoy the quiet beauty of this paradise and early, early risers will greet the sunrise along with the birds. After an included continental breakfast, depart mid-morning for the South Eastern regions of Nuevo Leon again arriving mid afternoon. Time to explore this ecological park before your included dinner. Overnight at El Salto in Nuevo Leon. CB, D

DAY 3 - Bird early on the grounds of our hotel. Return to the hotel for an included breakfast before time to relax. Explore the nearby little village or take an afternoon hike up to the spring that supplies the water for all the nearby towns. Build up an appetite for the ample dinner prepared for you. Overnight at El Salto in Nuevo Leon. B, D

DAY 4 - Birders can go out in the early morning. Be prepared to leave at 8:00am with a continental provided on the bus as we journey over roads seldom traveled by tourists on our way to Montemorelos for lunch. You will arrive at the border around 6:30pm CB
