Grand New England Tour Highlights

Touring Boston, MA
Your New England tour vacation starts with a flight from your chosen airport to Boston, one of America’s oldest cities. Experience the contrast between the past and present, viewing sites ranging from the Old North Church to the modern John Hancock Tower.

Mid Coast, ME
Travel along the North Shore of Massachusetts and the southern coast of Maine. Further up the coast is the charming fishing port of Gloucester and the famous Fishermen’s Memorial statue commemorating “... they that go down in ships.” The artist colonies of Rockport, Massachusetts and Kennebunkport, Maine, bustle in the summer and provide the quiet inspiration of the sea all year long.

White Mountains, NH
Next, we head inland into New Hampshire’s White Mountains. Travel along the scenic Kancamagus Highway, an old Indian Trail which cuts through the National Forest, New England's most rugged mountain scenery. Stops include views of Mount Washington and the grand Mount Washington Hotel, mountain cascades, wildlife and the Appalachian Trail.

Green Mountains, VT
Our journey continues with Vermont‘s Green Mountains tour. A photo stop will capture breathtaking views of Quechee Gorge. Continue to Woodstock for free time in this quaint Vermont town, complete with a wooden covered bridge.

Connecticut River Valley, MA
Connecticut's River Valley offers visitors big-city sophistication, along with the charms and splendors of the New England countryside: sparkling rivers and shoreline, centuries of history and culture, and an endless array of interesting sights to enjoy.

Newport, RI
Today we travel to America’s smallest state, Rhode Island. Visit Newport, the sailing capital of New England. Here, at the turn of the last century, America’s most wealthy families lived in such opulence that they referred to their palatial seasonal homes as “cottages.” Travel along the beautiful Ten Mile Drive, lined with extravagant stately mansions. You will tour one of these “summer cottages.”

Cape Cod, MA
Then it is on to tour Cape Cod. Awake to the fresh sea air in this world renowned resort. There is lots to see and do in historic Cape Cod, including a round trip ferry ride to the island of Martha’s Vineyard and other sight seeing tours. This is New England’s largest, and perhaps most famous island.
