Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is a yearly balloon fiesta that takes place in Albuquerque, New Mexico, during early October. The balloon fiesta is a nine day event, and has around 750 balloons. The event is the largest balloon fiesta in the world. It is also widely considered the most photographed event in the world.

Albuquerque Tours Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway The world’s longest aerial tramway transports you above deep canyons and breathtaking terrain. See nature’s dramatic beauty unfold before you. At sunset the desert skies produce a spectacular array of color form the observation deck atop 10,378 foot Sandia Peak in the Cibola National Forest an 11,000 square-mile panoramic view of the “Land of Enchantment.”

Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad Hidden away in a little-known corner of the southern Rocky Mountains is a precious historic artifact of the American West that time forgot. Built in 1880 and little changed since, the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad is the finest and most spectacular example of steam Era Mountain railroading in North America. Its equipment, structures and vast landscape exist today as if frozen in the first half of the twentieth century.

New Mexico Rockies & Red River Red River is located in the Southern Rockies and is part of the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range. Red River’s four square miles are surrounded by the Carson National Forest and are a part of New Mexico's Enchanted Circle Scenic Byways - an 87-mile scenic road at the base Wheeler Peak. Red River is off the beaten path.
