DAY 1 - Depart for Amsterdam. Meals en route.

DAY 2 - Arrive Amsterdam where you will be greeted by a cruise representative and escorted to the ship. D

DAY 3 - Arrive into Cologne where you meet your guide for an included walking tour of the city. Stroll through the narrow streets of Old Town, by tiny squares and little churches as you make your way to the cathedral, the city’s most famous landmark and a designated UNESCO World Heritage Center. A visit inside features the Shrine of the Three Magi and the beautiful glass windows that survived WWll. B,L, Captain’s Welcome Dinner

DAY 4 - As you journey to Koblenz, you’ll sail along one of the most beautiful sections of the Rhine. The vine covered slopes are dotted with more than 40 castles strung like pearls along the riverbank. See the famous Lorelei Rock. Your included guided walking tour will highlight the appeal of Koblenz - romantic narrow streets and historical squares, picturesque alleyways and fountains in the old quarter. B, L, D

DAY 5 - Rudesheim has a long history dating back to Roman times and is considered one of the most charming of the Rhine Valley ports of call. Famous for its long avenue of shops and wine bars, you can enjoy the first part of the afternoon exploring the town on your own, then join in for included wine tasting at the prestigious Castle Vollrads, world’s top wine estates for its Rheingau Rieslings. You may elect to choose the irresistible optional dinner with entertainment. B, L, D

DAY 6 - A guided walking tour through Speyer reveals a medieval town with a grand heritage and a compact historical center dominate by the largest Romanesque cathedral in Europe, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. You may choose to take an optional tour of Heidelberg with a visit to the castle and included lunch at a historic restaurant. B, L, D

DAY 7 - Delight in seeing Strasbourg in the way it has been seen through the centuries - on a canal cruise! View the town’s covered bridges, medieval watchtowers and modern buildings that house the European Parliament. See Petite France, a picturesque district that seems as if it has been lifted from the pages of a fairy tale. B, L, D

DAY 8 - Starting from medieval Breisach, the gateway to the Black Forest, you cross the Rhine and head for the Alsatian wine route, which hugs the foothills of the Vosges Mountains. Charming villages and lush vineyards, producing great white wines, line this winding scenic route. Experience the charm of medieval Colmar in its historic center. DAY 9 - Depart Zurich or Basel with included transfer to the airport for your flight home.
