Those who have gone to Medjugorje consider this trip to be a most moving and extremely spiritual experience. You will have time to meditate, to pray, attend Mass and reflect. They say that the people of Medjugorje are some of the friendliest people that you will ever meet. Itinerary can be shortened or can be added to Rome or one of the other trips.

DAY 1 – Depart US – Meals in flight

DAY 2 – Arrive Split, Dubrovnik or Zegreb
Arrival city depends on airline used. Regardless of arrival city it will be a three to three and one half hour drive to arrive in Medjugorje. Keep your passport handy as we will be crossing and re-crossing borders. D

DAY 3 -6 – Medjugorje
While in Medjugorje, you will stay in a “pansion” (small, family owned and run hotel with private baths). Daily simple breakfasts and dinners are included. Visit the houses of the visionaries, the Parish Church, Hill of the Apparition, the Hill of the Cross. It will take most of one day to climb the Hill of the Cross. Climb the Podbrdo. Visit Mother’s Village – an establishment for the education and care of abandoned and neglected children. Walk tranquilly through St. Francis Garden, a forest in the northwest part of Mother’s Village planted on what was once a barren hillside. The forest was a project of Fr. Slavko Barbaric and was inspired by Our Lady’s message, “Go into nature and look how nature is awakening and it will be a help to you to open your hearts to the love of God, the Creator” Also visit the Oasis of Peace, a religious community. Optional half day tour by private coach to Tihaljina. B, D daily.

DAY 7 – Medjugorje – US
Return to one of the departure cities for the flight home.
