The Holy Land-Walking Where Jesus Walked

If you ferry across the Sea of Galilee, stroll the Garden of Gethsemane or pause for a moment by the Wailing Wall, you’ll find this unique Holy Land Tour to be a very special experience. Focus is on Biblical history, religion and tradition . Jo has been on this tour a total of six times and the experience has changed her life.

DAY 1 – Depart the USA – Depart the US for Tel Aviv, Israel. Meals in flight..

DAY 2 – Arrive Tel Aviv – Here we meet our local guide. According to arrival time, we may go directly to Bethlehem with a visit to Shepherd’s Field and the Church of the Nativity before returning to our hotel in Tel Aviv. D

DAY 3 – TEL AVIV – HAIFA – MUHARKA – STELLA MARIS – MEGIDDO – CAESAREA – TIBERIAS - Drive to Caesarea once the capital of the Roman Province and see the harbor from which St. Paul was taken to Rome. Continue to Haifa and Mt. Carmel and Our Lady Star of the Sea (Stella Maris). At our stop in Cana, married couples can renew their vows. B, D

DAY 4 – TEBERIAS – SEA OF GALILEE – CAPERNAUM – TABGHA – MT. BEATITUDES – TIBERIAS - Take a ferry ride across the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum, where we will visit the ancient Synagogue and St. Peter’s house. Stop at the Church of the Beatitudes. B, D

DAY 5 – 9 – TIBERIAS – NAZARETH – JERUSALEM – After breakfast, we are on our way to Jerusalem where we spend the next five nights. Visit Mt. Tabor, see the oldest Church of the Annunciation with Mary’s Well in Nazareth. Visit the Jordan River and drive to Jericho. Visit the Church of the Visitation, the Mount of Olives, Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations, St. Peter Gallicantu, Christ’s Tomb and the Via Dolorosa as well as the Wailing Wall, Massada and the Dead Sea. Visit Qumran, the museum housing the Dead Sea Scrolls and Bethany. B, D daily.

DAY 10 or 11 – TEL AVIV – USA – Depending on the air schedule, this day may be free for you to revisit some of the places of most interest or to shop at the local market with an early departure on day 10, you will arrive in US on same day. Late departure will cause you to arrive in US on day 11. B
